He stated: “I am horrified by the news that two Israeli embassy staff were tragically shot and killed near the Capital Jewish Museum last night.” He emphasized that antisemitism is unacceptable in any form.
Later that day, Rep. Pappas addressed a legal development concerning national education policy. He noted: “President Trump’s executive order to dismantle the Department of Education has been blocked.” Pappas reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring quality education for all students and opposing actions detrimental to their educational welfare.
