On January 28, 2025, Rep. Chris Pappas marked the 39th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster, remembering Christa McAuliffe from New Hampshire. He noted that “Her statue now resides on the grounds of the New Hampshire State House as a reminder of her pioneering life and legacy.”
