The tweets reflect his commitment to assisting constituents with federal resources, recognizing educators, and advocating for healthcare access.
On May 5, 2025, Rep. Pappas highlighted the support available from his team for Granite Staters needing assistance with federal resources or programs. He mentioned various services including Social Security, VA benefits, passports, IRS-related issues, and business navigation through SBA. He provided contact information for these services in a tweet stating “My team is always here to help Granite Staters who need help with federal resources or programs…”
The following day, May 6, 2025, Rep. Pappas acknowledged National Teacher Appreciation Day by expressing gratitude towards New Hampshire’s teachers. In his tweet he wrote “It’s #NationalTeacherAppreciationDay! I want to thank New Hampshire’s wonderful teachers…” highlighting their role in supporting and empowering students.
Later that same day, Rep. Pappas addressed the importance of Medicare and Medicaid for residents of New Hampshire during discussions with @NHHospitals about challenges faced by hospitals in the state. He affirmed his stance against any cuts that could jeopardize health care access in a tweet stating “Medicare and Medicaid are critical for Granite Staters to get the care they need…”
Chris Pappas has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Carol Shea-Porter and previously served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010. Born in Manchester in 1980 and a Harvard University graduate with a BA degree obtained in 2002, he continues to reside there while representing New Hampshire’s interests at the national level.
