Rep. Chris Pappas, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Hampshire’s 1st district, has been actively engaging with his constituents through various initiatives and events. His recent activities reflect his commitment to addressing housing issues, facilitating government services, and supporting cultural and social causes.
On June 7, 2025, Rep. Pappas tweeted about meeting with Granite Staters alongside the NH Association of Realtors. He emphasized the importance of housing for maintaining strong families and a robust workforce in New Hampshire. Pappas stated, “Housing is essential to keeping families and a strong workforce in our state. I’ll continue working to increase our supply of affordable housing.”
In another effort to connect with his constituents, on June 8, 2025, Rep. Pappas announced a Pop-Up Passport Fair organized by his office in Londonderry scheduled for Wednesday, June 18th. He encouraged people to schedule an appointment or learn more about the event.
On June 9, 2025, Rep. Pappas shared his experience joining the Manchester Choral Society ahead of their performance of “Considering Matthew Shepard.” The oratorio aims to tell Matthew Shepard’s story and honor his legacy while combating anti-LGBTQ hate and violence during Pride month.
Chris Pappas has served in Congress since replacing Carol Shea-Porter in 2019. Born in Manchester in 1980, he previously served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010 and graduated from Harvard University with a BA.
