Rep. Chris Pappas, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Hampshire’s 1st district, has recently shared several updates via social media on legislative progress and community acknowledgments.

On December 10, 2024, Rep. Pappas announced that the House had passed the Water Resources Development Act with significant bipartisan support. He emphasized that “This legislation will make critical investments in New Hampshire’s water infrastructure, environment, and economy, creating more good-paying jobs and strengthening our competitive edge.”

In a subsequent post dated December 11, 2024, Rep. Pappas addressed the issue of impaired driving. He stated that “Every life lost to impaired driving is a tragedy and a preventable death.” He further expressed his commitment to advancing legislation aimed at improving road safety through initiatives such as his End DWI Act.

On December 13, 2024, Rep. Pappas commemorated the anniversary of the U.S. National Guard by extending gratitude to its members for their service. He remarked “Happy 388th birthday, @USNationalGuard! Thank you to everyone who has served over the years…for being Always Ready, Always There for our communities and country.”
