U.S. Representative Chris Pappas, who serves New Hampshire’s 1st district, addressed several topics in a series of social media posts between September 16 and 17, 2025.

On September 16, Pappas announced the availability of spots at a local event, stating, “There are 5 spots left at tomorrow’s Pop-Up Passport Fair!”

Later that day, he commented on recent legislative developments in Congress: “House Republicans just released their funding legislation. Here’s one thing you should know:

It does not include any extension for the Affordable Care Act’s premium tax credits, which are set to expire at the end of this year. 22 million Americans will see higher premiums if”

On September 17, Pappas expressed support for federal programs aiding small businesses: “I support SBIR and STTR because I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact they have on our small businesses and America’s global competitiveness.

Efforts to gut these programs could not be more misguided or detrimental to our small businesses and national security.”

Chris Pappas has represented New Hampshire’s 1st District in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Carol Shea-Porter. He previously served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010. Born in Manchester in 1980, Pappas graduated from Harvard University with a BA in 2002 and continues to reside in his hometown.
