Chris Pappas expressed his concerns over workers’ rights, stating, “This is a direct attack on local workers’ right to organize for better wages, safe conditions, & full benefits. It will harm working families, our defense, and our veterans who receive care at VA. I’ll fight this & do everything I can to protect workers.”

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Pappas criticized the administration’s impact on public health services in New Hampshire: “This administration’s recklessness is directly hurting New Hampshire – cutting critical public health, mental health, and addiction treatment services. Today I led my colleagues in demanding the administration reverse this decision and restore these funds to help save lives.”
