Dartmouth men’s golf concluded its 2025-26 season on April 26 as the team finished in fifth place at the Ivy League Championship, ending the tournament with a score of +48.
The performance marks the close of the Big Green’s season. The championship offered an opportunity for players to showcase their skills and finish on a strong note before looking ahead to next year.
Tyler Brand secured a 14th-place finish after shooting an even-par 72 in the final round. He started his day with a birdie and added more on holes seven, eight, and eleven, ultimately recording eleven pars and finishing at +10 for the tournament. Benjamin Wang also shot even par in his third round, closing out his tournament at +20 and placing 27th overall. Wang opened Sunday with a birdie and maintained steady play throughout both nines.
Fin Szafnauer climbed five spots during Sunday’s round by shooting +1, which placed him 21st overall. He recorded several pars and finished strongly over his last seven holes with two birdies. Luke Harper was Dartmouth’s top finisher after posting a +2 (74) final round that put him ninth overall; he played well on both halves of the course including six pars to close out his first Ivy League Championship appearance.
Aaron Zhang ended his Dartmouth career by scoring +3 (75) in Sunday’s final round, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on holes six and seven as well as another late-round birdie on seventeen.
The Big Green will return to competition this fall when they begin their preparations for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
