The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will close Georges Mill Road at the intersection of Fisher Corner Road and Stryker Road starting Monday, July 14, 2025. The closure is expected to last approximately 30 days to allow for a culvert replacement.

Weather permitting, the work will take place from July 14, 2025, to August 13, 2025. During this period, the road will be fully closed. Message boards and construction signs will be set up to inform and guide traffic before and during the closure.

While Georges Mill Road is closed, Fisher Corner Road will not be accessible from I-89 at Exit 12A. Instead, drivers should use a detour via Route 114. Those traveling from the north should exit at Exit 13, while those coming from the south should use Exit 11. Access to I-89 from Georges Mill Road beyond the closure area will follow the same detour along Route 114.

Access to Stryker Road will remain open from I-89 Exit 12A in both directions. Drivers are advised to stay alert in the construction zone and follow all posted signs.

Motorists can sign up for free real-time construction and traffic updates via text or email at https://newengland511.org/. The project has a budget of $2.4 million and Sargent Corporation of Orono, ME is serving as the prime contractor.
