The City of Lebanon announced on May 5 that the first quarter water and sewer bills for 2026 have been mailed to residents, with payment due by June 8. The bill covers services provided from January 1 through March 31, following rate increases approved by the City Council last October.

This update is important for residents as it reflects changes in utility costs and provides guidance on how to pay their bills. Water service rates increased by 8% and sewer service rates by 3%, effective January 1, after approval at the October 15, 2025 council meeting.

Payments can be made online through BS&A without a fee for e-check payments; credit card payments incur a fee of 2.95% with a $1 minimum charge. Residents may also pay in person at City Hall during open hours Monday through Thursday or use the green drop box outside the side entrance. Mailed payments should be sent to Lebanon City Hall and must be postmarked on or before June 8 to avoid interest charges.

A monthly interest charge of one percent (12% annually) will apply to late payments received after the deadline. Residents are encouraged to review available payment options and contact Utilities Billing Clerk Peggy Leva with any questions about their bill.

Looking ahead, city officials remind customers that timely payment helps maintain essential water and sewer services in Lebanon.
