The Lebanon Police Department announced on April 24 its participation in Target’s Spring 2026 Car Seat Trade-In Event, which aims to improve child passenger safety and help families replace outdated equipment.

The event encourages community members to bring old, damaged, or expired car seats to participating Target stores between April 19 and May 2. In exchange, customers will receive a 20% off coupon through Target Circle that can be used toward new car seats, strollers, and select baby gear.

Corporal Jodi Dumayne of the Lebanon Police Department, who is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, will be available at the local Target store on Friday, May 1 from noon to 4:00 p.m. Dumayne will assist families with proper car seat installation and answer questions about child passenger safety. Assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

According to the department’s announcement, “This event provides a valuable opportunity for families to ensure their children are traveling safely while taking advantage of cost savings on updated equipment.”

For more information about the trade-in event or related details, residents are encouraged to visit their local Target store or check Target’s website.
