The Lebanon Police Department announced on April 30 that it is investigating a shooting incident involving a Vermont man. Officers responded at approximately 6:52 AM to a report of a male who had been shot in the area of Hardy Hill Road near the Interstate 89 overpass in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
According to authorities, emergency responders found a 33-year-old male from Vermont suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim received medical attention at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Police said that the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under active investigation. “At this time, there is no known danger to the public, and this appears to be an isolated incident,” Chief Phillip J. Roberts said in an authorized statement dated April 30, 2026.
