A Manchester resident has been charged following a shooting incident involving a federal officer in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, according to an announcement from U.S. Attorney Erin Creegan.

Blu Zeke Daly, also known as Cullan Zeke Daly, age 26, faces charges of attempted murder of a federal officer and assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon. Daly is currently receiving medical care at a hospital in New Hampshire and remains under guard.

According to the complaint, on the evening of February 21, 2026, a Border Patrol agent encountered Daly driving alone in Stewartstown near the Canadian border. The agent asked if Daly had used any other names, after which Daly drove away. The agent followed at a distance. Shortly after midnight on February 22, Daly arrived at the Pittsburg Port of Entry on the United States-Canada border. The crossing was closed and locked. When the Border Patrol agent activated emergency lights and exited his vehicle, Daly began to turn and then fired a handgun at the agent. The agent returned fire with his service weapon and shot Daly.

The charge of attempted murder of a federal officer carries up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon carries similar penalties. Sentencing will be determined by a federal district court judge based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and relevant statutes.

The FBI is leading the investigation into this incident. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alexander S. Chen is prosecuting the case.

Authorities emphasized that “the details contained in the complaint are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.”
