The City of Nashua announced on May 8 the grand reopening of the renovated Le Parc de Notre Renaissance, which will host four days of music, food, and family activities during Memorial Day Weekend.
The event is expected to draw families and community members to downtown Nashua for a variety of free and paid activities. Organizers say the celebration aims to showcase the newly redone historic park while providing entertainment for all ages.
A full schedule includes food trucks, live music performances, arts and crafts activities for all ages, local vendors, lawn games, and a downtown Seek n Find with prizes. Organizers said there will also be coffee and breakfast food trucks available before the annual Monday parade down Main Street so attendees can “power up before supporting our marching veterans.” A drone light show and a lighted kayak parade are planned for Saturday evening along the river. The season opening of the Nashua Farmers Market and a Rubber Duck Regatta on the river are also scheduled.
All events are free to attend; however, food and other items will be available for purchase. According to organizers: “We hope to see many families visiting our beautifully redone historic park over the long weekend! ‘Le Dame’ can’t wait to welcome you back!”
The festivities will take place at Downtown Nashua’s Le Parc de Notre Renaissance at 23 Water St from Friday through Monday. Event hours vary each day: Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
