The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced that pavement resurfacing and guardrail replacement will resume on sections of NH Route 9 in Sullivan-Stoddard and NH Route 12 in Troy-Swanzey starting April 13.
According to the department, construction operations are scheduled between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., weather permitting, and will require daily lane shifts for approximately two months. The project includes removal and replacement of guardrails as well as paving. The guardrail work is expected to be completed over this two-month period.
Uniformed officers will assist with traffic control when available. Road users are reminded to adhere to the Move Over Law, also known as Sherrill’s Law, when approaching the work area and are advised to drive carefully through the construction zone. Drivers should remain alert while traveling through the area, obey all message boards and posted signs, and are encouraged to sign up for free real-time construction and traffic messages via text or email from newengland511.org.
All States Construction, Inc., based in Sunderland, Massachusetts, is serving as general contractor for this $9.3 million Federal Resurfacing Program project. Completion is expected by September 2026.
