Each year, during the growing and harvest season, farm stands across New Hampshire are asked to contribute retail produce prices for the Weekly Market Bulletin newsletter. This initiative aims to compile price ranges for various crops from different farm retail outlets. The collected data is utilized by producers throughout the state and region.

To ensure effectiveness, a minimum of five farms in each region are needed to share their retail price information every other week. The process maintains anonymity as no names are linked to the price details. Farms can also include items not listed initially.

Price information is typically required on Monday mornings and can be submitted via email or phone calls, which may last up to ten minutes depending on available products. Alternatively, farms may fax their information on Monday mornings. It is crucial that current prices are provided, as outdated price sheets cannot be used for the entire season.

The first price summary will appear in the Weekly Market Bulletin once enough data has been gathered. For questions or further details, Terri Sheridan can be contacted at 603-271-3551 or via email at marketbulletin@agr.nh.gov.
