A winning Tri-State Megabucks ticket worth $1.325 million was sold at Shaw’s on West Main Street in Hillsborough, New Hampshire, for the drawing held on April 7. The New Hampshire Lottery announced that the winner has the option to receive the prize either as an annuity paid over 30 years or as a lump sum of $662,500 before taxes.
Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery, expressed his excitement: “Congratulations to the lucky Granite State player who is certain to have some extra spring in their step now as well as in their bank account.” He added, “I cannot wait to hand over that big check to our winner—hopefully we’ll get to meet the winner soon!”
The jackpot-winning numbers from the April 7 drawing were 07-24-26-38-39 MB-6. Previously, a $3.95 million Tri-State Megabucks jackpot was won in Middlebury, Vermont, on March 5, and a $1.475 million prize was won by another New Hampshire player on October 19, 2024, in Derry.
The upcoming Tri-State Megabucks drawing on April 9 will feature a $1 million jackpot. The game has been operational since 1985 and is available in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, with drawings occurring thrice a week.
