The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) New Hampshire will host a virtual event to discuss the recently concluded 2025 state legislative session and new budget. The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 14 at noon Eastern Time and will be held online via Microsoft Teams.

State Senator Tim McGough, who represents District 11, including Merrimack, Milford, Amherst, and Wilton, will be the special guest. Senator McGough is noted for his business background and serves on the Senate Commerce Committee, which reviews proposals affecting business operations in the state.

According to the NFIB announcement: “With the 2025 state legislative session and new budget wrapped up, we’ll provide important updates on business taxes, business regulations, health care costs, new property tax tools, housing, and more.”

The organization encourages participation from local business owners. “We want to hear from YOU – register today to share your feedback on the state of small business with NFIB NH and Sen. McGough!”

Registration for the event is free but required in advance. Those needing assistance with registration or seeking more information are directed to contact Grassroots Manager Julianna Rauf at julianna.rauf@nfib.org.
