The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced that it will resume a pavement resurfacing project on NH Route 101 westbound between mile markers 67.0 to 62.2 in Auburn and Candia, starting April 5.
According to the department, construction operations will take place between 7:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting, and will require nightly lane closures for approximately three months. The project includes the removal and replacement of guardrail as well as a full pavement overlay.
Message boards, flaggers, uniformed officers, and traffic control devices will be used as needed to direct travelers through the construction zone. The department said road users should remain alert while traveling through the area and obey all posted signs in the work zone.
Road users are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic-related messages via text or email from newengland511.org. Pike Industries from Belmont is serving as the general contractor for this $15.7 million Federal Resurfacing Program project, which is expected to finish in September.
More information about the project can be found according to the official roster page.
