The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) is set to hold a public informational meeting concerning the NH 127 Bridge over the Blackwater River. The project aims to address safety concerns and remove the bridge from the State’s Red List. The meeting will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Webster Town Hall, located at 945 Battle Street in Webster. An open house will precede the meeting, starting at 5:30 PM.
The session is designed to present information about the proposed improvements and gather public input to align project decisions with transportation needs and community goals while considering environmental protection. An environmental review is currently being conducted under the National Environmental Policy Act to assess potential impacts on cultural and natural resources. The project may affect resources eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Individuals or organizations interested in historic resources can become Consulting Parties under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Further details will be shared during the meeting. NHDOT ensures nondiscrimination in its programs as per Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Information about alternative formats can be requested via email at info@dot.nh.gov or by phone at (603) 271-6495.
