The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced it will host a Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting on May 11 to discuss the rehabilitation of the bridge carrying US 3 and NH 11 over Mile Hill Road in Laconia.
According to the department, the proposed project improvements include replacement of the existing superstructure and bridge deck. Minor approach roadway work is anticipated and expected to be limited to pavement milling and overlay outside the bridge rehabilitation work limits.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026, at 7:00 pm at Laconia City Hall, located at 45 Beacon Street East. The public is encouraged to attend and participate. Citizens and public officials will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals while protecting and enhancing the environment.
The department said its programs and services are administered by the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable regulations to ensure nondiscrimination. Individuals needing information in alternate formats are advised to contact the NHDOT Public Information Office by email or phone.
