Traffic on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Merrimack will experience disruptions due to paving work scheduled by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT). The work, affecting both northbound and southbound lanes between Mile Marker 14.8 and 15.8, is set to begin on Monday, June 30, 2025.

The paving operations are planned to occur from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm, weather permitting. During this time, lane shifts for northbound traffic will be implemented, along with lane closures and rolling roadblocks throughout the day. Drivers should anticipate slower traffic and minor delays.

To keep motorists informed, message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be deployed. Travelers are advised to stay alert in the construction area and follow all posted signs.

The NHDOT encourages drivers to sign up for free real-time updates on construction and traffic through https://newengland511.org/. This paving is part of a larger $22.5 million project aimed at widening and reconstructing the F.E. Everett Turnpike from north of Exit 12 to south of Exit 13. RS Audley, Inc., based in Bow, New Hampshire, is managing the project with an expected completion date in fall 2025.
