The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) has announced temporary closures of the I-89 Exit 17 Northbound and Southbound on/off ramps in Lebanon. These closures are scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, July 8, 2025, to prepare for pavement operations.

Weather permitting, the work will occur between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM, with periodic ramp closures taking place sequentially. This approach aims to minimize disruptions by ensuring only one ramp is closed at a time.

To manage traffic flow during these closures, message boards and temporary construction signs will direct motorists to use Exit 16 (Southbound) and Exit 18 (Northbound) to reverse direction and access open ramps. Drivers should anticipate potential delays between Exit 16 and Exit 18 due to the construction activities.

Road users are advised to stay alert in the construction zone and follow all posted signs. Additionally, motorists can sign up for free real-time construction and traffic updates via text or email at https://newengland511.org/.
