Rep. Chris Pappas, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing New Hampshire’s 1st district since 2019, recently shared his insights and activities on social media. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a Harvard University graduate, Pappas continues to engage with local issues and broader national concerns.

On January 27, 2025, Rep. Chris Pappas posted about his meeting with the team at AMR in Manchester to discuss efforts addressing the opioid and addiction epidemic. He emphasized the importance of first responders’ life-saving care and expressed gratitude for learning more about their vital work. “This morning, I met with the team at AMR in Manchester to talk about ongoing efforts to address the opioid and addiction epidemic.”

Later that day, he marked Holocaust Remembrance Day by acknowledging the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz-Birkenau’s liberation. In his post, he highlighted the need to honor the memories of six million Jewish victims and continue opposing bigotry and anti-Semitism. “This #HolocaustRemembranceDay marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.”

On January 28, 2025, Rep. Pappas criticized an order from the Trump Administration that he believes will negatively affect communities across New Hampshire by raising costs for working people and institutions while making it harder for families to access essential services. “The order from the Trump Administration will have a devastating impact on communities across New Hampshire.”
