Rep. Chris Pappas, who represents New Hampshire’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted his engagement with community organizations and constituents through a series of posts on social media.
On March 8, 2026, Pappas shared details about his involvement with postal union leaders and members of the Postal Service Caucus. He stated, “Joined postal union leaders and Postal Service Caucus members last week for a discussion about how we can continue to strengthen mail service and support these dedicated workers.”
The following day, on March 9, 2026, Pappas posted about his visit to a local nonprofit in Hampton: “St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is a great community resource for those in need in Hampton. My office was able to recently help them ensure their nonprofit status with the IRS, and today I stopped by to get a tour and hear from staff on what they’re seeing regarding food”.
In another post made on March 9, he offered assistance to constituents dealing with federal agencies or programs: “If you, a family member, small business, or community organization, need help with a federal agency or program, reach out to my offices:”
Chris Pappas has served as the representative for New Hampshire’s 1st District since 2019 after replacing Carol Shea-Porter. Before joining Congress, he served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010. Born in Manchester in 1980 and currently residing there at age 42, Pappas graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002.
