On February 13, 2025, Rep. Pappas emphasized the importance of the ski and winter outdoor recreation industries to local economies. He stated that “The ski and winter outdoor recreation industries play a critical role in our local economies. Keeping ski fees local will help improve facilities, safety, and ensure our communities thrive.”

On February 14, 2025, he addressed the issue of fentanyl being mixed with xylazine by drug dealers in New Hampshire. In his tweet, he mentioned that “Dealers are cutting fentanyl and other deadly drugs with xylazine, worsening the already life-threatening impacts and resulting in fatal overdoses across NH.” He highlighted his bipartisan Combating Illicit Xylazine Act as a measure to assist law enforcement in tackling illegal drug traffickers.

Later on February 14th, Rep. Pappas participated in a Valentine’s Day event at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton. He expressed gratitude towards students from Beech Street School for their contributions to making valentines for veterans and acknowledged Dr. Laura Landerman-Garber’s participation: “Kicked off this Valentine’s Day at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton! Thank you to the students at Beech Street School in Manchester who helped make these valentines and to Dr. Laura Landerman-Garber for joining us to honor our veterans.”
