Lisa Mazur, a Representative from New Hampshire, said that Dartmouth Health had contacted public schools regarding LGBTQ-related training and urged parents to verify any communications. This statement was made on the social media platform X.

“Why is Dartmouth Health (DHC) obsessed with grooming children,” said Liza Mazur. “Parents in NH, reach out to your child’s public school and inquire if an email from Andrea Smith at DHC was received by anyone on the school staff. If so, let me know immediately.”

According to The Granite Eagle, in 2024, Dartmouth Health offered to cover the $300 cost of NH Outright’s LGBTQ staff training sessions for New Hampshire public schools. These sessions provided 90-minute workshops at no cost to the districts. Emails and outreach materials indicated that Dartmouth Health framed this funding as support for school staff development, while NH Outright publicly promoted the trainings as being “in partnership” with the health system.

Records show that at least three New Hampshire school districts contracted with NH/Seacoast Outright for LGBTQ staff trainings, with fees documented through invoices and emails. The Granite Eagle noted that these materials provide evidence of multiple districts engaging in such sessions, emphasizing taxpayer involvement in funding.

New Hampshire’s policies differ from those of nearby states. In August 2024, the state Supreme Court upheld a district rule allowing schools to withhold a student’s transgender status from parents without consent. In contrast, Massachusetts has a statewide Safe Schools program providing LGBTQ support and training, as reported by Reuters. These differing approaches highlight varied state-level governance of school policies.

Mazur, a Republican elected in 2022 to represent Hillsborough 44 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, has focused her legislative work on local governance and community issues. Ballotpedia notes her committee service and election history.
