The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) has announced a road closure on Route 153 in Eaton, NH, scheduled from Monday, July 14, 2025, to Friday, July 18, 2025. The closure is due to a planned box culvert replacement project. The affected area extends from the Eaton Village Store to the intersection of Eaton Road, Glines Hill Road, and Ridge Road.

Access to properties within the closed section will be maintained during this period. Detour signage will guide traffic towards NH Routes 16 and 25. Motorists are advised to plan ahead as the detour is significant.

For those traveling northeast of the closure on NH Route 153, access is available via NH Route 16. For southwest travel on NH Route 153, access can be made through NH Route 25. Travelers should remain vigilant in the construction zone and adhere to all posted signs.
