Lisa Mazur, a state representative for New Hampshire’s Hillsborough 44 District, has publicly said that Congressman Chris Pappas no longer aligns with the state’s values and has called for his removal in the next election. She made this statement in a post on X.

“It makes no sense that we have a Republican majority on every level in NH, except who represents us in DC,” said Liza Mazur. “Pappas doesn’t support women, parents or children and has been very bad for NH. It’s time for a message to be sent to Pappas through our votes.”

According to Ballotpedia, New Hampshire’s state government is currently under Republican control, with majorities in both legislative chambers and the governorship. However, the state’s congressional delegation remains entirely Democratic, represented by Chris Pappas and Annie Kuster in the U.S. House. This political landscape highlights a contrast between state-level and federal-level representation.

Chris Pappas has served as the representative for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District since 2019. His official House website states that he has focused on healthcare access, veterans’ services, and infrastructure investment. In the 2022 election, Pappas secured reelection with 54% of the vote against Republican challenger Karoline Leavitt.

Mazur serves in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for Rockingham District 24. As a member of the Republican Party, she supports parental rights, school choice, and traditional values. Mazur was elected during the 2022 midterms and is part of the current Republican majority in the House.
