New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu issued the following announcement on May 26.
Governor Chris Sununu and the National Foundation for Governors' Fitness Councils announced that the Groveton School (Groveton, NH), Londonderry Middle School (Londonderry, NH), and Portsmouth Middle School (Portsmouth, NH), will each receive a new $100,000 state-of-the-art fitness center as part of the Foundation's Don't Quit! campaign.
“Healthy kids are the foundation of a healthy state,” said Governor Chris Sununu. “Thanks to Jake and the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils, these three schools are on their way to getting state-of-the-art fitness centers that will help foster a healthy lifestyle from an early age. I look forward to joining Jake and his team when these centers are ready to be unveiled.”
These state-of-the-art Don't Quit! Fitness Centers will be unveiled during ribbon cutting ceremonies this fall.
