City of Durham recently issued the following announcement.
Memorial Day Ceremony at Town of Durham.
Join us on Main Street to remember and honor the military personnel that have died while serving our country.
We kindly ask that community members in attendance gather socially distanced on Main Street and wear face coverings during the event.
There will not be a parade this year, but instead, a brief ceremony at Memorial Park to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country.
Please join us on Memorial Day to honor and remember.
