A restaurant owner in Dover said he's had enough of customers treating his staff poorly over mandates meant to protect them.

Steve Newick, the owner of Newick’s Lobster House, posted a sign at his restaurant after many customers were aggressive and rude to the staff over mask mandates, limitations, prices and wait times due to shortness of staff. He is fed up with unruly customers, according to WGME News.

The sign tells customers: "If... you feel the need to yell and rant and rave like a spoiled child, please ask for me, Steve Newick (I’m here most of the hours we’re  open). Newick’s crew members do not deserve the abuse," according to WGME News.

"New Hampshire restaurant Newick's Lobster House tells 'spoiled' customers, Karens, entitled, anti-vax they'll be asked to leave. OK with me," Dr. Donald Marks said in an Aug. 25 Tweet.

The restaurant has been serving seafood in this location since 1948, according to Foster's Daily Democrat.

Newick said that most of their customers are understanding about the situation, but the “small vocal minority” is so harsh that he has even seen some servers cry. He said that his employees "deserve better" and said that people who are going to complain should not mistreat servers but instead should talk to him before leaving, according to Foster's Daily Democrat.
