New Hampshire Department of Transportation issued the following announcement on Sep. 17.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will begin nighttime road work on Sunday evening, September 19, 2021, on Route 125 from Chesley Hill Road to Wadleigh Lane in Rochester, NH.
Weather permitting; construction operations will require a nightly lane shifts and alternating one-way traffic to facilitate roadway milling and paving operations. This work is expected to be completed over a one week period and will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all message boards and posted signs.
This work is part of the $4.4 million statewide tier 2 resurfacing program. The general contractor is Brox Industries from Dracut, Massachusetts.
