New Hampshire officials discovered the body of Vermont resident Randy Koloski in Charlestown on Nov. 8, according to News10 ABC.
“Investigators say two hunters spotted a man's body floating in the Connecticut River in Charlestown, New Hampshire, over the weekend,” a Nov. 8 tweet written by reporter Sarahbeth Ackerman confirmed. “He's been identified as the missing Vermont man, Randy Koloski. He was reported missing last week @MyNBC5.”
According to the New Hampshire State Police, Koloski was found by two hunters at 10 a.m. Though troopers don’t suspect foul play, an autopsy will help identify an official cause of death.
The 68-year-old school bus driver was reported missing last week after failing to show up for his work shift at Student Transportation in White River Junction. He was last seen alive by his neighbors, and the last account of him was reported on Oct. 30, on surveillance camera provided by a bus company, showing him cleaning out the bus he used for his shift, News10 ABC reports.
According to the police release, Koloski’s car was found at the bus company with his keys, phone and checkbook left inside. His neighbors reported a conversation he had outside his home the day before he went missing with a “middle-aged man whom they didn’t recognize.”
As the investigation continues to unfold, Vermont and New Hampshire officials are urging anyone with information to contact the New Hampshire State Police at 603-419-0130 or the Hartford, Vermont, Police at 802-295-9425.
