New Hampshire National Guard: Holiday Message To The Forcé

Merry

Holiday Message To The Forcé

This year has proven to be an impressive sequel of determination and achievement in what has become a perpetual storyline for the New Hampshire National Guard.

From securing the presidential election last January to securing Kabul airport this fall, 2021 was anything but a reprieve.

We were Governor Sununu’s Swiss Army knife in the fight against COVID-19.

We rescued injured hikers and helped quell civil unrest. We kept a watchful eye at the Southwest Border.

We christened into action our new fleet of KC-46 A refuelers with the names of each county, the town of Newington, and the city of Portsmouth. We hosted an Air Show that drew record crowds and rekindled the public’s appreciation of our military.

We deployed to the Middle East and Eastern Europe. We performed alert missions, refueling combat aircraft with a renewed sense of purpose and pride.

We welcomed the island nation of Cabo Verde to our State Partnership family.

We hailed a new generation of citizen soldiers and airmen and bid farewell to those who dedicated their careers to the welfare of others.

We cared for our veterans and fellow citizens during a time when they needed it the most.

Because of your dedication, Granite Staters felt safe and reassured that we could overcome any crisis be it manmade or natural.

Thank you for your commitment and living the Guard motto of being, “Always Ready, Always There.”

Happy Holidays to you and your family. Remain vigilant and look out for each other. 2022 is right around the corner.

Sincerely,

Major General David Mikolaities

Adjutant General

New Hampshire National Guard
