The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a prominent small business advocacy group, has announced that its NFIB NH PAC is endorsing 142 incumbents in the New Hampshire House who are seeking re-election. This endorsement is based on their voting records over the past two years, reflecting their understanding and support of small business issues in New Hampshire.

Ray Pinard, Chair of the NFIB NH PAC Board, stated that these endorsements were made because "these candidates understand small business issues and they have the backs of small business owners in the state of New Hampshire." He noted that the last two years have been challenging for many, particularly for small businesses. According to Pinard, without the support from these House members, conditions could have worsened for businesses.

Pinard emphasized the importance of electing representatives who grasp the financial challenges faced by small businesses due to rising energy prices and inflation. He remarked that these officials "can be counted on to maintain favorable economic policies for small businesses."

He also highlighted opposition to certain mandates such as a $15 minimum wage and mandatory leave policies, which he believes would negatively impact small businesses across New Hampshire. Pinard assured that these endorsed House members will continue to resist costly programs that could harm job creation and business operations.

Pinard further mentioned that with ongoing debates about business costs in Concord, NFIB's 1,500 member businesses in New Hampshire rely on these legislators to manage spending and avoid excessive taxes and regulations. He expressed confidence that if re-elected, these representatives will prevent any broad-based tax measures from being enacted.

In conclusion, Pinard reiterated NFIB's commitment to fostering economic growth and job opportunities through tax relief and reduced regulations. The organization's endorsement process focuses on legislative voting records concerning critical business operation issues in New Hampshire.

NFIB has been advocating for America's small businesses since its founding nearly 80 years ago. It remains a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated exclusively to supporting independent businesses nationwide.
