Swimming & Diving Places 17 on America East Academic Honor Roll

 University of New Hampshire Athletics issued the following announcement on July 29.

Seventeen members of the 2020-21 University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team have been recognized for their academic achievement by being named to the America East Academic Honor Roll. Thirteen Wildcats earned a spot on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll, while four were named to the Honor Roll.
 Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.
 Anna Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) and Cate Wardinski (Burke, Va.) each posted a perfect 4.0 in the spring semester and were named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 Miranda Bacon (Scotia, N.Y.), Paige Edmier (Bartlett, Ill.), Michaela Herwig (Geneva, Ill.), Paige Hillis (Mississauga, Ontario), Madison Linstedt (Marion, Ohio), Ciara McCormack (Newton, Mass.), Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.), Keira Moon (Middleton, Mass.), Olivia Stille (Stockholm, Sweden), Hannah Weatherby (Newtown, Conn.) and Cassidy Wilson (Toledo, Ohio) also all received Commissioner’s Honor Roll accolades.
Being recognized on the Honor Roll were Meg Carroll (Haverhill, Mass.), Nicole King (Avon, Conn.), Cheyenne Kreide (Lake Stevens, Wash.) and Jamy Lum (Honolulu, Hawaii).
 The Wildcats posted an outstanding 3.50 grade point average as a team for the Spring 2021 semester.
 The UNH swimming and diving program won its ninth America East Championship in program history in 2021 which are the most in conference history (1998, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2020 and 2021).
