Temporary road closure planned on Lancaster Hill Road in Tilton

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) has announced a temporary daytime road closure on Lancaster Hill Road in Tilton. The closure is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 26, 2025, to facilitate guardrail installation and replacement. This work will occur between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, weather permitting.

The affected area spans from Ridge Road to approximately 1,500 feet west of Westwood Drive. Despite the closure, access to properties within this section will be maintained.

Motorists can use NH Route 132 to reach Lancaster Hill Road west of the closure and US Route 3 for access east of the closure. Traffic will be rerouted via these routes. Message boards and traffic control devices will assist in guiding drivers through the detour.
