Twenty-two-year-old Emily Ferlazzo of Northfield, New Hampshire, has been missing since Oct. 16, according to reporting by WMUR9.

Vermont State Police have found the remains of a woman, whom they believe is Ferlazzo. The woman's husband, Joseph Ferlazzo, 41, has already been arrested in connection with her death.

"Oh Damnit! New Hampshire man pleads not guilty to killing his wife after body found dismembered," said a tweet from a Twitter user named Roni.

Emily Ferlazzo's family had reported her missing to the Vermont State Police on Oct. 18 at 7:15 p.m.

Joseph Ferlazzo told family members that the couple was staying at an Airbnb in Bolton, Vermont. He claimed that Emily went missing while he was shopping nearby.

After the investigators spoke with Joseph Ferlazzo, he admitted that he had killed his wife inside his vehicle on the morning of Oct. 16 in Bolton. The vehicle was found in St. Albans, Vermont, by the police and it was seized Oct. 19.

"The information he provided is that he had killed his wife, Emily. He  said he had done so in the town of Bolton in the early morning hours," Maj. Dan Trudeau, commander of the Vermont State Police Criminal Division, told WMUR9.
