On this date, we remember Christa McAuliffe and the NASA scientists who tragically lost their lives on the Teacher In Space Project in 1986.
Three years ago, Governor Sununu declared January 28th “Christa McAuliffe Day.” The memory of McAuliffe, a social studies teacher from Concord, lives on for her courage to participate in this mission to educate future generations of students.
