To celebrate its ongoing commitment to public education in New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Lottery is offering a unique opportunity for five high school hockey players. These students will have the chance to skate alongside NHL legend and former Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron at an event hosted at Conway Arena in Nashua.

The competition involves three varsity players—Frank Tessier from Manchester Memorial High School, Dillon Boucher from Berlin High School, and Ethan Peluso from Windham High School—and two goalies, Lucas Arlen of John Stark Regional High School and Cameron Roberge of Manchester Memorial High School. These participants were chosen randomly from nearly 1,200 nominations submitted via a post on the New Hampshire Lottery's Facebook page.

Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery, expressed enthusiasm about the event: “We’re all about celebrating here at the New Hampshire Lottery, and what better way to honor our partnership with New Hampshire public schools than getting Patrice Bergeron back on the ice!” He added that Bergeron's achievements make him one of the best players ever and posed a challenge to see if these high school athletes could compete against him for up to $1,000 for their schools.

In addition to this competition, a special event marking five years of sports betting in New Hampshire will take place at The Nash Casino. This gathering will feature a question-and-answer session with Patrice Bergeron moderated by Sports Media Personality Mike Mutnansky.

Since launching mobile sports betting on December 30, 2019, New Hampshire has seen over $3.5 billion in total handle placed by local bettors. This activity has generated nearly $130 million for public education within the state.
