New Hampshire Secretary of State issued the following announcement on Sep. 15.
WHILE THE NEW HAMPSHIRE HOUSE CHAMBER is undergoing a new paint job, the iconic oil portraits have been removed and stored in wooden crates, custom built for each and placed in the front ante-room over-looking the State House Plaza. Before being tucked away, however, conservators have cleaned each painting and their ornate frames repaired as needed.
