The NHSP Marine Patrol Bureau has a full-time vacancy for a Navigation Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor. This position has a 40-hour work week and is non-exempt.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
* Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential plus a three or four-year apprenticeship in boat building, carpentry, electrical equipment repair or related trades. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
* Experience: Four years' experience in general maintenance and repair work concerned with the operation, care, and maintenance of powerboats and buoys with at least two of the four years spent in this work on large inland lakes and waterways. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
* License/Certification: Must possess a valid New Hampshire Boating Education Certificate and a valid motor vehicle driver’s license. Must possess a repair certification from a major outboard engine manufacturer.
