On February 6, 2025, Rep. Pappas voiced his disapproval regarding Elon Musk's involvement with government systems. He stated: "It’s unacceptable for Elon Musk, an unelected campaign donor, who is also the richest person on the planet, to have been given access to these systems with so little oversight." Pappas emphasized his commitment to challenging executive overreach and holding government officials accountable.

The following day, February 7, 2025, Pappas highlighted the importance of legislative measures in combating the opioid crisis. He tweeted: "Scheduling is a critical step that ensures law enforcement retains the full suite of tools they need to take on the opioid crisis." He expressed satisfaction with the passage of the HALT Fentanyl Act in the House and urged prompt action from the Senate.

Later that same day, Pappas met with representatives from various health organizations to discuss healthcare challenges in New Hampshire. He wrote: "I met with representatives from @bistatepca, @LampreyHealth, and @HarborCare to discuss their critical work providing health care to NH communities and how recent Administration actions could negatively impact it."
